Johanne - I didn&#039;t realize this was the garden that won, but now that you mentioned it, it DOES look familiar. Totally deserved.

Sharon - sorry about the too-small photos. I&#039;ve made the top one larger. It is a bamboo by the front door, and the tree is an evergreen magnolia.

Trees, shrubs and perennials with  color pairings that take my breath away.  I will re-visit in the spring/summer for another look.  Nugget:  this garden won 1st place in Steve Whysall&#039;s All Up Front Garden Contest in 2004.  Really like your website!
