Submit your garden! Take us on a garden tour.
Everyone loves a garden tour. But we can’t personally visit all the great and deserving gardens around the world. So climb aboard the Heavy Petal tour bus, where you can tour fellow readers’ gardens rain or shine, in spring or the depths of winter. The tour is full of fun people. And you don’t have to wear identifying hats in an unflattering colour.
First things first: your garden doesn’t have to be perfect! It will never be finished. It will always have looked better some other time. We don’t care. We want to see real gardens. Or corners of gardens. Or balconies, or allotments. Cottagey or zen minimalist – whatever you’ve done, we want to see it. The tour will only be successful if you join in. So please do!
Photo Requirements
Please send five-10 photos of the best quality possible, including a mix of establishing shots and close-ups. Photos should be at least 400 pixels wide. ‘Before’ pictures are great, but not completely necessary. We just want to see what others have done, to share ideas, and above all, to escape into the garden!
You can also upload your photos to the Heavy Petal Garden Tour Flickr group.

Andrea, I have recently completed a gardening project at SunnyHill Childrens Health Centre. I designed and co-ordinated the installation of the garden that included a wheelchair fun circuit, a waterfal, a bridge,l and not to mention dozens and dozens of plants. All provided free of charge to the centre by me and other BCLNA members. Would this quailfy as part of the garden tour. We have links up on my site in ‘in the media’ page for TV and print coverage. If you want to know more, let me know! Steve Jones, Urban Escapes, Landscaping to escape in….

This is a great idea! I would love to see a balcony garden if anyone has one. Gardening on a 10′ x 10′ balcony eleven stories up is kinda tricky…

Fun! I just posted a big landscaping project on my new blog. Got some others too – I’ll e-mail you the links with the details if you want to use it. :) Love your patio! How come all I find second hand is cheap crap people show in the before pictures?
