Great photos and coverage. I’m having garden show envy. Our show in Boston is not happening this year. Looks like you went away with lots of cool ideas, including creative ways to use small spaces.

Jen – Hey, do you live in Vancouver? Our “garden” show sounds just like yours! Magic Mops galore.

Adriana – I’d love to have space for one! Even the “condo-sized” greenhouse is too big for my condo.

Andrea, great round up about the show. So much to admire and really fun to see all the pictures now that I am back in New York with only memories. Thanks for the kind words about my garden it was great fun to design a garden without a client in mind…I could put all my favorites things under (or in this case over) the space. Designing fabrics, furniture, tiles etc was a real thrill but seeing them all together fun, fun, fun.
I wish I could live in the penthouse too. Oh well, a girl can dream.

Andrea! Love your blog! It’s beautiful and your photos from the show are fabulous. I’m so thrilled you included my container display in your posting. Being in the show this year was a fun, fabulous, creative and exhausting experience. I tried to demonstrate that we can’t all live in penthouses, but we can have some fun and be inventive with the space we have. And you’re right — yellow is so in. Michelle wore it!

Thank you for these highlights. Great selection. Although I’d love to have the space and resources to create a Sky’s the Limit outdoor space, I’d be thrilled with enough room for the compact greenhouse.

I wish we had something like that here. Our “garden” show involves every non-gardening business in town peddling their goods and services.

Karen – I agree: there will be a next time – or some version of it. And we should definitely do a blogger event. Yay! That’s exciting. I don’t want to wait until 2010, though. What else is coming up that we can use an excuse to get together? Yes, Vios was great. And very kid-friendly for sure!
