I purchased six packs of organic lettuces, spinach, and chard this week but can't put them in the ground. We have been experiencing a heat wave and I am too nervous to put the babies out in the blistering sun. It is 100 degrees today! I have to admit, I am a little envious that you have your winter garden started : ) On the bright side, my tomatoes and herbs got their second wind and I am back to preparing bruschetta daily.
