I have been a vegetarian for a couple of years now and have an organic garden with a few fall plants - mostly radishes and lettuce. A picture like that actually makes my mouth water! Yummy!

Meemsncy - thanks!

Rebecca - Oh yes, the slugs are making a big comeback in my garden too.

Zoe - Wow! That sounds amazing. I'm a little afraid that I won't have much of a winter garden; this is supposed to be a brutal winter!

Nature Drunk - Sounds delish!

Dee - I always get my winter garden in late, too!

In your hand, it looks like a beautiful bouquet. I harvested the last eggplant today, and I have some green tomatoes. I need to plant some lettuce seeds. I'm late per usual.~~Dee

Nothing yet! But the greens - the lucky ones that have not been eaten by bunnies - are nice to look at. They remind me of how fresh life is. As I look at the "greens bed" now, the Pak Choy does appear to be ready. I think I will prepare stir fry tonight with some of the long beans waiting in the fridge.

What a lovely bouquet! Lots of greens here too - and we are coming into my favorite harvest season, which if I'm lucky and have planned right, lasts through fall, winter and spring... Cold frame greens taste so healthy, spicy, fresh, particularly when everything else in the garden is brown. Will make a salsa with roasted green tomatoes today, and pick a big salad.
