Dear Lord,

July 21, 2006 by Andrea Bellamy 4 Comments

Please save me from this pestilence. I can’t handle the aphids and whitefly any longer. Please send ladybugs and parasitic wasps soon.

In desperation,
Andrea

    Lord, hear our prayer.

    Amen.

I would like to echo this prayer and make an addendum. Lord, maybe you could use your powers on my squash bugs too. They seem to be having illicit sex all over my garden and laying inordinate amounts of eggs and I’m not too fond of this sort of behavior.
    Amen

Why pray when you can buy…
    http://www.hirts.com/
1,500 Ladybugs for $9.99. While your at it you might as well order a package of baby praying mantis as well.

(I just discovered your website today and I love it! Sincerly, a Friendly Colorado Landscape Architect)

Thanks folks – and welcome Craig and Sk8ordiehard – our prayers must have worked, cause my plants are bug-free. Or maybe it’s just past their season ;)
