So, today’s the frost free date for Vancouver, and this is what it’s doing outside? Big, fat flakes. Doesn’t look like much in the photo, but come ON!

Same thing going on in Portland OR: little snow, little sun, pouring rain…fire in the fireplace and a good book is the only way to go.

How cruel the weather gods can be. Here we are still waiting for the snow to melt. But on the good news side, we are starting to see the Canada Geese return.

I’ve been wondering when the last “frost free” day is for Vancouver. Thank you for posting. Now that I know I’m still as confused as I was before as to when I can put stuff out thanks to the snow. At least it doesn’t seem to be sticking…..

Holy baby shoots, it did the same in NH yesterday. 3 inches of new snow here! I am so impatient to start gardening and had to come online to commiserate with others.

Our frost free date doesn’t arrive for another two months!

Hopefully this will be the end of the snow!

While there is no snow down here in Sonoma, it sure is cold in the mornings too. We took a chance and planted some seedlings yesterday, but I’m sure we’ll have to pull them inside soon.

OMG! It was snowing here in Shoreline (just north of Seattle) on Tuesday, April 1st. I did not see it as a funny April Fool’s joke. I am SO happy that the night time temps have been in the mid 40’s at least. I usually start wearing shorts in February but, not this year.

Kicking myself for voting for Gore years ago and shocked that the Nobel Peace prize folks could not see that Mr. Al was so wrong.
