resurrection fern's thimble gardens

How much do I adore these sweet, sweet thimble gardens over at the gorgeously eclectic Resurrection Fern. SWOON.

I’ve also never seen snails look so beautiful.

This is too sweet. I inherited some antique thimbles from my granny. I have to try this in them.

I have never seen anything like this and it is so cute ! .. do they function for very long or is it a temporary mini garden ?

if you put a little damp sphagnum moss in the bottom of the thimble and then a bit of soil I think these could stay healthy and happy for a while. probably just need to mist with distilled water often.

Robin – yep, they appear to be.

Elaine – you must! I am going to nick some thimbles from my MIL, who has hundreds laying around.

Joy – I hadn’t seen anything like it, either. I adore them.

Lauren – thanks for the info, and for leading me to discover your site!

Crafty – :) I love sites that combine two loves – like crafting and gardening.
