You beat me to it. I have a shot I plan to post of my monitor hanging from a yew.

You captured my first year of gardening perfectly! Priceless pic—hurry and do everything you want to out in the yard before your little darling wakes from a nap.

Melanthia and Becca – Yep, that’s about it! I miss those days of long hours lingering in the garden. Now it’s a race to get the bare minimum done while she naps. Oh well, only a couple of years and I’ll have her out there with me “helping.”

Oh man, my monitor would sometimes crap out when I was in the garden but did I go in right away? Nooooooooooooooooooo. Bad mommy sometimes has to plant just one more plant…

But it gets better! The following year you can both run around and play in the dirt. Gardening with my then almost two year old last summer was a blast! Give her a bucket and a digger or some water and she was game for the day. Muddy gardening bliss.

I’m due any day now with my first baby so seeing how others handle it is inspiration.
