Happy equinox!

There’s hail and thunder and general meteorlogical grossness outside as I write this. But still. It’s officially Spring. Let the sunshine and new growth and jacket-less days begin! (Seriously, anytime now.)

Just a few hundred miles down the West Coast things are gorgeous. Are you sending California something unpleasant?! ;-)

Happy Spring back to you! Apparently it turned into spring here in the UK at 11.44am. It was a beautiful sunny day (fingers crossed for the weekend).

Here Here! A whole hearted agreement with your sentiment about spring and moving forward out of the meteorlogical grossness. I’m down in the other Vancouver (Washington) just outside of the Portland, Oregon. And like you, we have seen enough snow, ice, frost and general wintry unpleasantness.

Its time to begin carrying out all the winter garden planning. To Spring!

Hurray for Spring! We had the craziest 30 minute monsoon yesterday… I am so ready for the real sunshine – gardening without a coat! I started following your post – I garden in the Seattle area. Have a fantastic weekend.

Did you just take that pic of the cherry blossoms? Nothing’s blooming on our street yet, although we did get a city crew through to chop some branches from our cherry trees. now i have a collection of logs for growing shiitake :)

Doviende – sorry, nope. It’s from last April. Soon, friend, soon!

Well, we had a few days without our winter woollies, didn’t we? I was sad to have to dig a coat out of the closet this morning again. Hope that wasn’t the end of the nice weather until… July!?!
