    Oops. I just read the following from your “About” page: “Rejecting horticultural snobbery along with plastic swan garden planters…”

    I have plastic swans (and a tire planter or two). But the good Lord knows I’ve never had “horticultural snobbery.”

    You know, Gnostic Gardener, I think that sentence shows that *I* am guilty of garden snobbery. Shame on me! I wouldn’t put a plastic swan planter in my garden, but I really would rather see someone be enthusiastic about gardening – no matter what they’re planting in.

    Gale – I honestly have no idea! The original photo is so small, it’s hard to tell. Plus, I’m just not all that up on houseplants!
